Here she is modeling the jacket. I know she's swimming in it, but the smallest pattern size is for 12 months, and my little alligator is a petite 9 monther. But this pattern is truly so simple that she'll probably have jackets in all 4 sizes (12m-4T) before I'm done with it.

Sew Baby Wonder Jacket
So I recenty took break from sewing bags to make a jacket or two for my little girl. I found a wonderful pattern by SewBaby, The Wonder Jacket. The special thing about this pattern is that the front, back, and collar are all one piece. So the entire patter is only two pieces, body and sleeves. This pattern was so easy and so quick, I was able to finish one in the evening, after work, in between feeding the family and getting the kids to bed! I made two versions, one is a fleece/flannel combo for cold weather and the other is a cotton/flannel combo for warm summer evenings. Here is a couple of pictures of my finished product.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much. I think so too, but I might be a bit biased.
